Data SheetOur Joint Enclosure is the ideal housing for a waterproof joint connection. It houses 2 trays of 12 cores splice joints and these slots can be populated with two splice joints per slot, allowing for a total of 48 splice joints if needed. Additional trays can be applied upon request.
The joint enclosure is capable of IP67 rating and can withstand being submerged in water up to a depth of 1m for a 30 minute period. This housing is ideal for being placed in a man hole or on a suspension wire in an ariel application. Direct bury is also an option but its always preferd to be placed in a manhole for servicing.
When hanging the enclosure in an ariel application there are metal hang clips included to allow hanging from a guide wire or ADSS cable.
When joining long distance connections or allowing multiple connection points to converge, this joint enclosure is ideal for ensuring your connections are safe, secure and dry.
