The Mini Dome Joint – 24 Core (3 Port, Heatshrink) is a specialized fiber joint enclosure designed for telecommunications and networking applications. This joint enclosure serves as a protective housing for splice joints, ensuring protection againts all weather conditions including full submersion when placed under ground. This dome joint is very compact compared to other types of dome joints, allowing it to be installed in a location with limited space.
This dome joint has 3 ports for fiber cables and 1 loop port. It utilizes a heatshrink design providing the maximum benifit of water and weatherproof resistance. There is a rubber ring seal used at the base of the enclosure and this ensures a very secure tight seal. As a result it has an IP68 rating.

Insulation resistance: the insulation resistance between the metal work piece and the earth is greater than 20kMΩ.
Pressurization: there is no breakdown or flashover under 15kVdc/1min between the metal work piece and earth.
Lifetime: 25 years.
